Welcome to the LAND website. Feel free to explore the many activities sponsored by your organization. LAND is sponsored by an annual fee from each of the contributing community colleges in Michigan and by the fees at our annual conference. Our goal is to be a forum and a network for the development of the liberal arts in all of its many aspects. Its activities are aimed at both teachers and students. We hope you find an access here to information leading to the improvement of the teaching of the liberal arts.

 WHAT IS LAND?

The LAND membership consists of liberal arts administrators and faculty from Michigan’s community colleges. The planning committee meets once a month during the academic year. Active colleges typically send two representatives—a faculty member and an administrator.
